The British Group of Early American Historians conference 2017, is open for registration!
The theme this year is ‘Land and Water: Port Towns, Maritime Connections, and Oceanic Spaces of the Early Modern Atlantic World’ and will take place at the University of Portsmouth between 31 August – 3 September 2017.
Event co-organiser, Dr Tom Rodgers describes the BGEAH and conference as:
BGEAH is an informal grouping of historians working in the field of early America and the early modern Atlantic World. The conference is always a collegial event attracting scholars from across the UK, the USA, and Europe.
The Port Towns and Urban Cultures group is dedicated to furthering our understanding of the social and cultural impact of life in port towns from the eighteenth century to the modern period. Find out more.
