Come and Work With Us! Lecturer in the History of The Royal Navy

Uni PortsmouthThe Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, School of Social, Historical & Literary Studies at the University of Portsmouth, seeks to appoint a research-active historian with a specialism in any aspect of the history of the Royal Navy and its global presence between 1660 and 1900.  The postholder will take a central role in creating a new distance-learning MA in Royal Navy History in collaboration with the National Museum of the Royal Navy, and contribute appropriate teaching to our wider History undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The postholder will also work closely with the Port Towns & Urban Cultures strategic research project.
