untitledD-Day Conference 10th – 11th May 2014, held at the D-Day Museum, Clarence Esplanade, Southsea – If you are interested in learning even more about D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, visit Southwick House Map Room and don’t miss an exciting opportunity to hear from a range of speakers including; “The Silent Day: The United Kingdom prepares for D-Day” by Max Arthur OBE, “Oh no, not D-Day again: is there anything new to say about the 1944 Normandy campaign?” by Dr Simon Trew and “The Battle of the Atlantic: the victory that made D-Day possible” by Dr Duncan Redford.

The optional conference dinner event presents a rare opportunity to dine at the D-Day Museum with representatives from The Normandy Veterans Association, who will present first-hand stories from D-Day and pay tribute to the many men and women whose service made the success of the Normandy Campaign possible.
